Write Your Own Eve Review

My objective with EveOnlineReview.com is to provide the most comprehensive and realistic review on all aspects of Eve online available.

I think part of that objective has to be providing reviews from players other than myself, to provide that realistic angle, and of course to make it a lot more balanced.

Some people like Eve more than I do, some really hate it and quit.

I’d love to get reviews from those people, and everyone in between… so if you’d like to throw up you own review on EveOnlineReview.com, please get in touch with me via my contact page! I might even swing newbs a few million isk depending on how in depth the review is (but not depending on how much you love or hate Eve).

If you’re a blogger, I’m equally keen to hear from you, and am happy for you to include a brief description about yourself and your own site at the end of your own review.

Personally. The idea of the game and the mechanics are cool, but the programmers suck at creating this game. Monkeys with limp arms could program a better game. The customer service (GM’s) are HORRIBLE! BEYOND HORRIBLE! I USE to pay for GTC’s and sell them to get in game money. I used it to buy a full crystal implant set even. Till one day I sign on to find myself in a station in a pod with an eve mail saying I was blown up and my crystal implant set is gone. I “petition” the event in which GM Gruber insults me in the nicest way possible in calling me an idiot that I lost my implants under normal circumstances and the server logs told him so. I then get offended and tell him how I feel, and eventually ask for another GM who might actually do his job right. Which instead I am given a 30-60 day ban from the game. Now every time I send a petition I put “P.S. I want my crystal implant set back” and the GM could care less about helping me. Currently now I am dealing with a “senior GM” GM Spiral, who doesn’t seem to care any more than the rest that a paying customer could possibly be right and it just might be the better way to go and make the PAYING customer right.

P.S. Who actually pays for a game and wants to fill out bug forms? Quit telling me to fill out bug forms when your game screws up (and you still refuse to fix the screw up!). You have a whole development team for that! Play your own game and experience your own screw ups first hand!

If anything CCP owes me skill points for the banned duration AND my crystal implant set.

Hell I’m not even mentioning the 30+ myrmidons I lost in lowsec in my newbie days due to their random server disconnects!

Hello guys, those of you who have tried EVE and think that you can not go solo are actually wrong. It is possible to play a solo game, even pvp solo! However joining a corp or making your own corp can get you further than you will go solo much faster. I for one tried WoW a couple of years ago and could not get into the game, which I ran into a bunch of kids on that server. Needless to say the EVE online experience is a much more adult based game, which is refreshing when you think about the fact that I am a 39 yr old man. This game is based on who has the biggest Alliance, not corporation, an alliance is a group of corporations that have formed together to achieve a common goal. One piece of advise for those who start the game brand new, do the tutorial missions, and run the level 1 missions, skill yourself up to get into a decent frigate and then grind your learning skills. Learning skills help you learn things much faster after you have got them in place. Oh and main thing, have fun and welcome to my world in EVE.

Hi everyone, I’m really dissapointed with this game, it looks old, it’s buggy it takes seven hours to download on ADSL2 it’s so big. so download it days before you sign up or you’ll lose days of playtime right of the bat!

Customer support is aweful and anyone can get you banned by reporting you as a bot or by sending you stuff and saying they were hacked. NOBODY IS SAFE!

If your sick in bed like me for extended periods of time and play Eve too much they will ban you. the GM’s are ALL corrupt and look after their own corps and ban anyone who harvests “their” asteroids” or threatens their players.

If you do get banned because eventually everybody does in Eve, that’s how aweful this game is you only have to type banned for nothing eve online into google to see hundreds & thousands of hits.

CCP should hang it’s head in shame banning the wrong players.
AND YOU CANT LOG IN TO UNSUBSCRIBE FROM THEIR SERVICE IF THEY BAN YOU AND YEP THEY KEEP DRAWING THE MONEY OUT OF YOUR CREDITCARD!
AND THERE IS NO WAY TO STOP THEM. besides chargeback because they “Assume you’ll keep playing after they’ve banned you for nothing…AS if!

BEWARE OF EVE! THE PEOPLE WHO RUN IT USE IT LIKE THERE OWN CASH MACHINE! YOU CAN PLAY FOR FREE BUT YOU’LL GET BANNED REAL QUICK WHEN THEY REALISE THEY CANT MAKE ANY MONEY OUT OF YOU, THEY CANT HAVE THEIR SERVER TOO CROWDED WITH NON PAYING CUSTOMERS.
    think about it.
then there is the lagging and latency issues that are never ending, connection issues extended downtime without reimbustment, the unfair bannings, the non existent customer support, no recourse to appeal any desicions made against you (you cant force the GM’s to escalate your petitions) Honestly the list is exhuastive of why I will not recommend this game to anyone it’s a Money SCAM masqurading as an MMO Game and the only people benefiting from it are a select few (count them on two fingers) and they live in Iceland.
    AVOID AVOID AVOID

Honestly save yourself & your family or freinds the heartache & misery this game will bring into your life once the soundtrack kicks in and all those lovely frequencies hit your brain you’ll be hooked like a marlin.

the phallic symbols in the cloud formations are so obvious it’s almost pornagraphic and leaves nothing to the imagination.
