Eve Online Fleet Battles, Fun!
Welcome to my thoroughly researched list of the best Eve Online fleet battle videos!

I’ve chosen from a variety to try and show off different kinds of battles and sizes – not to mention different fleet commander styles, engagement styles and situations.
Feel free to comment which other videos you think should make the list, and I’ll throw them up too when I get a chance.
General warning: Most of these videos include the “F word”, and I’m pretty sure the “C word” might even make a choice appearance once or twice. These videos WILL get you in trouble with your boss, your wife, and your kids. Watch with caution.
Number 1: Gentlemen’s Club Alliance of Eve – Germinate Campaign
(extra warning: language, sexuality, aka, “you’re fired” material)
I love this video, but I questioned including it in this list, let alone as number 1 since the author included some choice eye candy… but its a great video, fleet battles interspersed with closer encounters, good HD visuals, no boring staring at a blob here.
It gives new players to Eve a better idea of the thrill of combat (which is hard to get across without being there…).
Number 2: The Drone Lands War
A birdynumnumnumnum video, cool story line and HD video production, and includes some great fleet battle footage — again, without the terrible static blob of red and blue that a lot of fleet fight videos have.
Number 3: Alliance Tournament 7 – Day 4 – SOLAR FLEET Vs Banzai Boys
A different kind of fleet battle video from the CCP channel. This is an Alliance Tournament battle, set sides, about 7 ships a piece. Great commentating in this fight, and shows off a cool “arena” style of Eve online combat. Watching all of these alliance tournament videos could teach you a few things about PvP combat (and probably raise a hundred questions

Number 4: CVA VS -A- Motherships pt 1 & 2
An interesting fleet battle video in that it shows a lot of different & interesting aspects of fleet battles. The second video shows the lead into another fight with a large fleet waiting to jump in. A very short range warp into a nearby blob of enemy vessels kicks off the action. The blob seems to retreat, and the author’s fleet performs another short range jump to engage another blob. Cool looking and close up video of formation jumps.
A good video that shows off the difficulty fleet commanders face (also known as “FCs”) when corp mates decide to use the channel when they shouldn’t.

Number 5: NC VS SC Awesome Fight
A brutal up close look at a large fleet engagement. Lazors and stuff are going everywhere. Highly entertaining and another look at a fleet commander giving orders in a furious fight.
This list is a work in progress. Once I’ve had submissions from other Eve players to this list, I might finalize it and call it “X best Eve fleet videos of 2010″. Or I might just keep it rolling.
